Beethoven: The Complete String Quartets

REGRETTABLY CANCELLED: Beethoven's 250th Anniversary Celebration

Like so many arts organizations throughout the nation and across the world right now, Musical Masterworks is in the unimaginable situation of having to cancel the remainder of our 2020 season due to the Coronavirus outbreak. This, of course, is particularly heartbreaking because it means that the incredible programming of the Complete Cycle of Beethoven’s String Quartets cannot occur, the March and May programming that we worked so hard to produce and you all supported so passionately and anticipated so eagerly.

While this saddens us all, we want to reassure you that we are more determined than ever to come back in Season 30 with a strong and jubilant season — one that says that music is still here, that performances of live music do still matter, perhaps more than ever now. I look forward to being back in touch with you to announce our Season 30 programming and dates.
