May 4 & 5, 2019

We enjoyed a thrilling season finale of the 28th season of Musical Masterworks, as acclaimed husband-wife duo, pianist Gloria Chien and violinist Soovin Kim joined Edward Arron for a performance of Schubert’s spellbinding E-flat Major Trio, one of the great masterpieces from the composer’s final year. The program began with the exquisite and virtuosic C Major Trio by ‘Papa’ Haydn, followed by Prokofiev’s transcendent f minor Sonata for Violin and Piano.
