Musical Masterworks is pleased to announce its 33rd Season at the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme with their opening concert weekend October 14 and 15. This season Musical Masterworks will welcome back violinist Tessa Lark for her second season as Artistic Director.
“This season we have a wealth of artists new to Musical Masterworks, making music heard nowhere else but here”, remarked Lark. “The October and February concerts alone account for the debuts of eight Masterworks newcomers, including world premieres of works written specifically for their inimitable gifts. We have an extraordinary season ahead!”
Joining Tessa for the opening performances in October will be pianist Amy Yang, violinist Alexi Kenney, violist Melissa Reardon and cellist Alice Yoo. The concerts will feature music by Lark, Rameau, Dvořák, Mozkowski, and Robert and Clara Schumann.
Musical Masterworks 33rd season runs from October 2023 – April 2024 at the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme at 4 Lyme Street.
