Musical Masterworks will feature the beautiful sounds of the classical guitar in the marvelous acoustic of the First Congregational Church, as we celebrate the Old Lyme debut of guitarist Colin Davin, in collaboration with perennial Musical Masterworks favorite violinist Tessa Lark on Saturday, March 30th at 5:00 pm and on Sunday, March 31st at 3:00 pm.
Davin, hailed for his “virtuoso’s technique [and] deeply expressive musicianship” (American Record Guide), has emerged as one of today’s most dynamic young artists. Join him, along with Lark and Artistic Director Edward Arron on cello, in a program that explores the breadth of the guitar-violin-cello repertoire, from Bach to the 20th-century works of Spanish and South American composers.
