Musical Masterworks delivers its fourth concert weekend of its 32nd Season at the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme on March 18th and 19th with violinist Tessa Lark as Artistic Director.
In March, the beloved pianist Jeewon Park returns to join Artistic Director and violinist Tessa Lark for a recital featuring Dvorak, Corigliano, Strauss and a special world premiere by Lark.
“Within the warm loyalty of the Old Lyme community there is a deep reverence for tradition in the DNA of Musical Masterworks,” said Lark. “I’m looking forward to a weekend filled with glorious music with my dear and longtime friend.”
The following week, MMModern returns on Friday, March 24th featuring Vision Duo at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts at 84 Lyme Street in Old Lyme. From 5:30 – 6:30 cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served, followed by the concert from 6:30 – 7:30. Enjoy classical works with a contemporary twist featuring Ariel Horowitz on violin and Britton-René Collins on marimba/percussion. $45 admission includes complimentary beer, wine and appetizers before the concert.
Musical Masterworks 32nd season runs from October 2022 – April 2023 at the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme at 4 Lyme Street.
