I’m a Schubert fan, and I so enjoyed the interpretations of works that I know and love. I thought that the Arpeggione Sonata was brilliant. It had me on the edge of my seat. Also, I continue to be amazed by Inon Barnaton’s ensemble playing, remarkable for such a strong solo performer. The afternoon was all about subtlety, to my way of thinking. Musical Masterworks is sprinting out of the gate. Well done.
